The proposed link road from the A55 to the Saighton Camp Development has been rejected by the Highways Agency.  Developers CEG now propose to submit a planning application before the end of this year for the development of approximately half of the Saighton Camp site, consisting of upto 375 new homes.

CEG have proposed that minor improvements to the local road network and the conversion of the Boughton Heath (Sainsburys) roundabout to a road junction controlled by traffic lights will be sufficient to cater for the increased traffic.
